- 153 is the number of chapters in the first four books of Moses
Old Testament and includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus
and Numbers. -
Total 50+40+27+36 = 153 chapters.
- 89 is the number of chapters in
the New Testament gospels:
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. - Total 28+16+24+21 = 89 chapters. - Only to
discover that amazingly 89 cubits is approximately 153 feet. - The fish and the number 153 are for signs and symbols.

- Jesus had the curious habit of doing and saying things
that often discouraged many from following him, he didn't
mince words. - He never
had large crowds because of this. - He would ask 'Are you
able to take up your cross and follow me?' and advise them to
sell everything or give it away. - Additionally,
traditional Jews had strongly directed religious eating habits
(kosher). - Jesus would say 'Unless you eat my flesh and
drink my blood you aren't alive' and this would cause many of
his followers to leave him without bothering to understand
what he was saying.
The "white dog" in a theological context often symbolizes the Holy Spirit and a life lived in obedience to God's grace. It represents the good, positive, and spiritual aspects of Christian faith, while the "black dog" (often representing sin) represents the negative, selfish, and worldly desires. This illustration is used to depict the internal struggle between good and evil that Christians face.

The Bible talks about two Adams that were in the world, the first Adam which became a living soul was the first man to be created in the Garden of Eden in the book of Genesis.
- Now the last Adam that the Bible describes is a symbolic picture of the man who did everything the first Adam could not do, which was to fulfill God’s law perfectly and give life to the world through his death.
- In other words, the last Adam is Jesus Christ.
The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Fishermen |
- Jesus used the word 'fish' as a metaphor to represent
man. - He also recruited his first Apostles from among the
ranks of fishermen. - When you asked his followers why they
followed him, Peter replied, 'you have the words of lasting
life.' - Jesus was fishing for his disciples and fishermen
stay quiet and hidden from fish they are seeking.
The evangel or glad message which Jesus initiated was indeed good news for every single person, but was not intended to be attractive to every person. It was, in fact, quite repellent to most.

- Fishermen would fish early in the morning when the early
bird was getting the worm and they often work late, they are the hardest workers.

There is a certain humility in fishermen, salt of the earth, not sweetness and light,
they don't adjust their opinions to please others. - They
are also careful about not harming nature and want to harvest
fish in a way that is sustainable. - These are all the
perfect analogy for the fishers of men that Christ recruited.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you
fishers of men. (Matthew 4:19)

No fear little one |
- The fish that Jesus was catching were not fearful of
hell because they were not motivated by fear. - They were
true-hearted and principled servants and only love can inspire
that. - Fear is a tactic that produces mindless drudges
afraid to stand up for themselves. - These fishermen are
not serving out of self-gratification or ego and they weren't
looking for material reward.
Hear me, Lord, my plea is just;
listen to my cry.
Hear my prayer—
it does not rise from deceitful lips.
2 Let my vindication come from you;
may your eyes see what is right. (Psalm 17:1=2)

Fish fall |
- You can see the fish falling away from the very net that
caught them. - It happens in little ways, you find a church
you liked the message but then something soured you when you
perceived ulterior motives such as the pursuit of money
instead of Christ. - But Jesus is clear and he has always
been selective, not because he doesn't want to save everyone,
but because he plans to save everyone the second time he
comes.
Let’s dispense with false claims right off the bat. The first is that Jesus was trying to lead people to traditional study of Torah. The claim is made that in those days one of the popular reading schedules of the Torah among some synagogues took 153 days. Jesus did tell the Pharisees to search the scriptures, that is the Tanach (Torah plus Prophets plus Writings). But then he says, (paraphrasing) “You think they have given you eternal life — but they testify of me!”

- In one of the parables Jesus taught, he likened the kingdom of heaven
as a high calling - Jesus is only interested in gathering excellent followers
in his dragnet and then bringing them to shore in his large
net. - He is looking for the meek and humble, the
non-judgmental judgers, pure-hearted, generous, patient
shepherds and fishers of men (and women of course).
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that
was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away. So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,
and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be
wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:47-50:)

- In that parable of the dragnet, the Lord acknowledges that the Christian enterprise does not only capture pure-hearted, honest disciples.
- But that there are inappropriate fish, or the occasional octopus
or crab, that are thrown back because the purpose of the call of Jesus in this age is not to save every life possible.
- He’s looking for disciples of Jesus who will become mediators and judges in a future government after their obedience is completed.
Now when He had risen early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. (Mark

- That's where we are today, he has gathered all kinds of
fish, many which are not usable right now. - John's 153
fish was God's way of showing us how the spirit of God quietly moved
others to add meaning and structure to everything that was written
throughout the Bible.
When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn. (John 21:10)

Vesica Piscis |
- The Vesica Piscis was used in Pythagorian mathematics even before
Jesus was born and had to do with Phi and the golden ratio.
- In a Venn diagram, two circles are joined, with an overlapping area representing a set.
- The region in both circles, where the two sets overlap, is called the intersection.
- How could a net with such a strong intersection ever tear,
it has double thickness.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

- That’s why he called Himself both 'The Son of God' and
'The Son of Man' and any person who comes to God through
Christ is 'in Christ.' - Archimedes, a Greek mathematician, applied
the square root of 3 to the number 265 / 153 in his ratio for
measurement of the circle and it is still not known how he
determined this. - It has to do with how many feet (265)
Christ was standing from the shoreline. - However, it's the mathematical relationship between the dimensions of the
Vesica Piscis and the number 153.
- So we’ve got the square root of 3, the number 3 representing God in the form of the Trinity, and 153 representing the catch of fish and the Vessel of Fish.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The meaning of 153 fish |
- 153 is called a triangular number. - Meaning that, if you put 1 on the first line
(as shown above), 2 and 3 on the second, 4, 5 and 6 on the third, 7, 8, 9, and 10 on the fourth, and keep going until you have 17 lines with 17 numbers on the line, you will have 153 numbers in the shape of a triangle.
- This makes the shape of a triangle which in some of the Bible’s symbolism is the shape of the redeemed world.

- The catch of 153 fish, as described in the Gospel of John is interpreted as a symbol related to the
Vesica Piscis, a geometric shape formed by the intersection of two equal circles. - It's an odd number
and a triangular number and catching these fish was the last
miracle Christ performed. - It's all about factorial,
5!4!3!2!1! added together sum is 153. - 5! is 5 x 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 120,
- 4! is 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24,
- 3! is 3 x 2 x 1 = 6,
- 2! is 2 x 1 = 2,
- 1! is 1 x 1 = 1.
The temple building pictured in some of the psalms and prophets has a “chief” cornerstone, also called “the head of the corner”. Jesus referred to himself in this way as the “stone the builders rejected” which at the last would become “the Head of the corner”.The top stone of a pyramidal structure is useless until all the other stones are in place. But the “headstone”of that building is the model which defines the lines to which all the lower stones must conform. So a pyramid shaped “temple” with 17 layers of “living stones” would have 153 stones in each side.

153 is the sum of square, triangular, and circular numbers.
153 = 100 + 28 + 25 with
100 being a square number, 100 = 10squared
28 a triangular number, and
25 a circular number.
A circular number is a number whose square
“ends” in the same digits as the number itself.

teachers of the law the Sign of Jonah? - God gives Jonah a command and he decides to disobey God and flee from His presence by going to another city. - The main message of the Book of Jonah is a picture of the Gospel, symbolizing both Adams: the first Adam, who disobeyed God and brought sin into the world, and Christ, the last Adam, who brought salvation by laying down His life. - He was in the vessel of the fish for 3 days and 3 nights
which means he was in the intersection of the Vesica Piscis.
Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. - Just like with the story of Jonah, Jesus gets into a boat with His disciples and a great storm rises up on the sea threatening to break up the boat with its waves.
- In the Gospel of Mark, the Bible tells us that Jesus was also asleep in the stern of the boat, which is basically the lower part of the boat, just as Jonah was.
- The big difference with this story is that Jesus only had to say one phrase for the storm to stop immediately, while Jonah had to be thrown into the sea for the storm to cease
(type of tribulation).
When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. - The Fine Structure Constant, the Golden Ratio (Phi) and Fibonacci Sequence are governing the laws of physics and all shapes in reality.
- This is because we live in an electromagnetic

- These have become known as the 'Strong's numbers.'
Strong’s puts the KJV words it lists in regular
order; that means alphabetical order—from Aaron,
Abaddon, and Abagtha to Zain, Zechariah, and

system from Strong's. - The Blue Letter Bible
(BLB) has online Hebrew and Greek lexical resources. -
There is also Bauer's Lexicon (BDAG) which is an online
and is among the most highly respected dictionaries of
biblical Greek.
