FILIPPO LIPPI - ANNUNCIATION

- In 1452, Filippo Lippi (1406-1469) was appointed chaplain to the nuns at the Monastery of St. Mary Magdalene in Florence, coincidently, the same year Leonardo DaVinci was born.

- Basal (foundation) means fertile in Filipino.

- Pillars were very important because they date the period the artist is depicting.
