DAVINCI - BAPTISM OF CHRIST - PAGE 4

Simon Magus Deceived Us All

Samaritan

- Simon Magus was a Samaritan religious figure who lived during 1st century AD.
- He was a disciple of John the Baptist and came from that truth.
- The Israelite Samaritans were an indigneous Near Eastern religious group from Samaria; located in the north half of the current West Bank.

Disciples

- 1st century AD was a period of anxiety where the traditional city-state was replaced with an imperial form of governance.
- This was a time filled with uncertainly and new religions like Gnosticism and Christianity were formed.
- Other practices such as mystery cults, magic arts, magicians and healers became the center of focus.
- By middle of the first century, Christianity was considered a sectarian movement.

A progressive devaluation of the cosmos. (E.R. Dodds)

Christ talks to disciples

- Simon Magus appeared on the scene in the New Testament Acts when Luke sent apostles on a mission from Jerusalem.
- Jesus Christ appeared before his disciples and they wanted to know when the kingdom would be restored to Israel and he told them it was not for them to know.

He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:7-8)

Convert to Christianity

- Simon Magus was a convert to Christianity and was baptized by Philip the Evangelist.
- He is famous for his confrontation with Apostle Peter in the New Testament Acts of the Apostles.
- Over the years, Simon Magus gradually morphed into the worst of the worst according to 1st-3rd century Christian church fathers.

When Simon sees that many of his followers have been drawn to Philip’s miraculous deeds and have even been baptized, he allies himself with Philip, and receives baptism from the apostle. Simon apparently hopes that by becoming a Christian he will increase his repertoire of tricks. (biblicalarchaeology.org)

Magic arts

- When Simon Magus first interacted with the Apostles, he believed they were in the same line of business as him.
- Simon would have seen in Philip and Peter as men very much like himself; they were fellow practitioners of the sacred and magic arts.
- But they were much more because the Apostles only performed sacred magic such as healing and they invoked Christ's name.

Healing

- Simon Magus was called a Magus (Magi) which was an ancient title that referred to an honored caste devoted to astrology, science, divination and the healing arts.
- Over time, the title Magus meant anyone from the East, or Persia, who practiced occult arts such as divination and healing.

Paying for power

- From Simon Magus came the act of simomy, or paying for power after he attempted to buy a position as one of Christ's Apostles.
- Simon Magus viewed the Apostles as magicians so when he saw them performing works of magic such as healing, he wanted the 'spell' they used and he offered them money.
- He was already a powerful self-promoter and had convinced the people how great he was.

Now for some time a man named Simon had practiced sorcery in the city and amazed all the people of Samaria. He boasted that he was someone great, and all the people, both high and low, gave him their attention and exclaimed, “This man is rightly called the Great Power of God.” (Acts 8: 9-10)

Thoth Egyptian Hellenistic type of early Gnostic

- He is often credited as the founder of Gnosticism and his traditions were cited by Justin Martyr, Hippolytus, Epiphanius and Irenaeus, who were all sympathetic to Christian views.
- Although others claimed he wasn't a Gnostic, and believed it was only the early Christian church leaders who thought that.
- Irenaeus believed that Simon was the founder of the Gnostic sect called the Simonians.

He studied Greek literature in Alexandria, and, having in addition to this great power in magic, became so ambitious that he wished to be considered a highest power, higher even than the God who created the world. And sometimes he "darkly hinted" that he himself was Christ, calling himself the Standing One. (Wikipedia)

Sorcerer and Magician

- Simon Magus was considered a powerful sorcerer with the ability to levitate according to works including the Acts of Peter and the Epistles of the Apostles.
- It was also said that he could 'fly at will' and preached righteousness and judgment to come.
- He was called the 'Bad Samaritan' and accused of lawlessness in the Apostolic Constitutions.

They followed him because he had amazed them for a long time with his sorcery. But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.” (Acts 8:11-13)

Darkside exposed

- After Philip baptized Simon and others, Peter and John were sent on missions to Samaria and prayed the congregation might receive the Holy Ghost.
- The Apostles laid their hands upon the Samarians and they received the Holy Ghost.
- When Simon saw them laying hands on the Samarians, he realized that baptism alone didn't give him the power he wanted.
- He offered the Apostles money for their special power and he was rebuked by Apostle Peter who warned him to repent.

Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee, for I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. (Acts 8:20)

Helen

- Philosophers Justin Martyr, who turned Simon into a heretic, and Irenaeus believed that after Simon was cast out by Apostle Peter, he joined with a woman named Helen in Rome.
- While in Rome, he claimed he was the one who appeared to Jews as the Son, in Samaria as the Father, and among other nations as the Holy Spirit.
-  Justin and Irenaeus are the first to recount the myth of Simon and Helen, which became the center of Gnostic Simonian doctrine.

Meanwhile, the Jews believed that Simon was their Messiah, the Son of God, while the Samaritans—his native people—were convinced he was the aforementioned "Great Power." (ancient-origins.net)

Epiphanius' fingers do the walking

- According to the Simonians, the world was formed in a very different fashion than the Romans and Christians believed.
- Epiphanius of Salamis placed Simon in first person in Simonian theology and Helen as Ennoia (intellect) who was the first female in creation.
- The First Thought then descended into the lower regions and created the angels but the angels rebelled against her out of jealousy and created the world as her prison, imprisoning her in a female body.

The Simonians continue that Simon was actually the Father in human form, attempting to reunite with the first thought and thus bringing salvation to the people of the world. It was Simon and Helena who decided the fates of the mortal race, determining who would go to heaven and hell, rather than those fates being decided after death. (ancient-origins.net)

Ennoia in the ethers

- Ennoia went forced to pass from human to human through the years, as she could never return to God, culminating in Ennoia's possession of Helena, who was the consort of Simon Magus himself.
- Simon traveled throughout the ancient world, from Palestine and Syria, to Caesarea and Antioch, to Egypt and Rome, establishing churches wherever he went with his paramour Helena.
- Next, she had many reincarnations, including Helen of Troy, and Helen, a slave and prostitute in Tyre.

God then descended in the form of Simon Magus, to rescue his Ennoia, and to confer salvation upon men through knowledge of himself. (Epiphanius)

Philospher epiphany

- Hippolytus described Simon's story as a fairytale and believed he was a magician and not a Gnostic.
- He believed the Simonians comparison of Simon and Helen to Zeus and Athena showed an ignorance of the mysteries.
- According to Epiphanius, the 'Law,' was not of God, but of 'the sinister power' and the same was the case with the prophets, and it was death to believe in the Old Testament.
- Dante wrote about him landing head first in a pit in the 8th circle of Hell.

he Pseudo-Clementine writings were used in the 4th century by members of the Ebionite sect, one characteristic of which was hostility to Paul, whom they refused to recognize as an apostle. (Wikipedia)

Miracle worker baptism of fire

- Increasingly over time, Simon Magus and the title magus took on darker and more demonic characteristics to Christians and his reputation declined rapidly.
- Christianity tried to separate its miracle workers from those who were mere magicians.

Snakes rise

- Just as Jesus Christ had an apostle named Simon (the Zealot) who was the head apostle, so John the Baptist also had a Simon (Magus).
- After John the Baptist was beheaded, most of John's disciples went on to follow Jesus, but there was another group, headed by Simon Magus, more prideful, who didn't want to follow Jesus because they believed they had all the answers.
- John was not prideful and told his followers that he was going to decrease and Jesus was going to increase, but Simon and his followers didn't want to acknowledge that and rejected John's beliefs.

Beastly

-  There were many schisms in Christian beliefs in the early 1st century AD and we read about them in the New Testament.
- Separate from Simon Magus, there was another group that believed in Jesus but they were zealous for the law.
- Apostles Paul, Peter and James and all the Sanhedrin that Jesus chose, the 72 elders, and all the apostles got together and declared they would not follow the Simonian Gnostics.

Lawmen

- The Apostles sent out letters to all their congregations warning them not to follow those who believed in the law (Ten Commandments).
- Paul and Barnabas were sent out on a mission to talk to all the churches.
- You can read the letters (epistles) in the Bible about topics concerning the law, as example, when Paul argues to the churches that Christians shouldn't have to follow Jewish circumcision laws.

Buttons

- The controversy involves a question that Peter and Paul resolved differently: Will the church be a sect of Judaism or will it include gentiles who have not first become Jews?
- Paul, in his Pauline mission, contended that Gentile converts should not have to be circumcised.
- Peter sided with the Petrine mission to Jews and basically mocked Paul as a caricature of Simon Magus.
- Peter's rivaly for head of the emerging Catholic Church continued on, and Paul was sent on a mission to Spain.
- The authors of the Acts of Peter wanted Paul out of the way so that Peter could be the one to save the Roman congregation from Simon Magus.
- By the 4th century AD, the rivalry had to stop when Constandine solidified the church and the story changed to Paul in a support role to Peter.

To compare Paul to the ignorant arch-heretic Simon is a great insult, intended to undermine Paul’s authority and validate Peter as leader of the church. (biblicalarchaeology.org)

Pauline epistles

- The Pauline epistles are the 13 books in the New Testament traditionally attributed to Paul the Apostle.
- There are epistles in the Bible that have been disputed as not the works of Paul, however, the undisputed letters are; Romans, First Corinthians, Second Corinthians, Galatians, Phillippians, First Thessalonians and Philemon.

Nowadays, few scholars argue against this list of seven epistles, which all share common themes, emphasis, vocabulary and style. They also exhibit a uniformity of doctrine concerning the Mosaic Law, Christ, and faith. (Wikipedia)

Peace and love

- Jesus came to Earth to get rid of Jewish law because it failed to save anyone.
- He made a New Covenant that did away with Mose's Ten Commandments and turned them into two commandments.

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:36-40)

Christ's carrier pigeons

- Apostle Peter sent letters to Pontius Pilate and congregation scattered about through Asia Minor telling them that Paul spoke the truth about things that were hard for most to understand.
- Peter felt that the 'unsteady and untaught' liars were twisting Paul's beliefs to their own destruction.
- Paul was an apostle, and beloved brother, and had the right hand of fellowship with Peter, James and John.
- These were the beliefs that came down through the authority of Jesus through his appointed apostles.

As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things. Therein are some things hard to understand, which those who are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures, unto their own destruction. (2 Peter 3:16)

John the Baptist

- John the Baptist, who came before Jesus, taught all these people before his death; they were the same disciples and they believed in all the esoteric wisdom.
- They didn't believe in Judaism as Talmaic Jews do today, meaning, they rejected the law of Moses in the literal sense.
- These were the Essene priests up in Syria at the Temple of Dionysius and the Eleusinian Mysteries.
- Also at the Temple of Artemis where they performed glossolalia and had the Mysteries which is what the Apostles were teaching them and writing letters about.

Those who went before, to mark and improve the route, were the forerunners. (bibletools.org)

Bad conduct

- All these great places and peoples, were teaching and believing the same thing, that they were saved in Jesus Christ's name.
- Simon Magus was jealous of apostle Peter because there was another Simon (Zealot) who was chief of the apostles.

Divine Son

- Jesus came from the Essenes and was schooled by the Essenes, further trained in India, and then went to Persia where he studied with the masters.
- By the time Jesus was age 12, all his teachers throughout the Mystery schools realized they couldn't teach him anything, because he already knew more than them.
- They realized he was the Divine Son of the Divine Father and Divine Mother.

Magi gifts

- The three wise men or 'Magi' from Persia in India and Babylon came and bowed before Jesus and laid their crowns before his feet, gave him gifts, and worshiped him.
- Except for Simon Magus, who was too proud, he knew that Peter had the power he wanted.

Judas character

- Simon wanted a place on the left or right hand of Jesus, like James and John, but he didn't understand that wasn't his destiny, he wasn't appointed.
- His destiny instead, seemed to be just another Judas character, prideful, and he wanted to buy the Holy Spirit's power and glory.

John the Forerunner with Simon Magus the Pathfinder

- Simon Magus was angry and prideful and he went on to proclaim that John the Baptist was greater than Christ and that he was John's disciple.
- Then he started to believe that he was the master and had the keys to the kingdom.

Adam

- This is where some of the apostasy began in the Gnostics; the Mandaeans, or Sabians, who worshipped John the Baptist, a mysterious religious order from the Middle East, who are mentioned three times in the Quran.
- The Mandaeans were strong followers of Seth, Noah, Abel, Enos, Aram and Shem; they believed that Adam was the founder of their religion and John the Baptist was their final prophet, or messiah.

Mandaeans Media on the map

- The Mandaeans believed that Jesus Christ was a false prophet.
- In the Haran Gawaita, or Scroll of Great Revelation, which was written between the 4th-6th centuries AD, the Mandaeans left Jerusalem for Media in the first century because of persecution.
- Next they went to Haran in Turkey and then to the Median hills in Iran before finally settling in southern Mesopotamia (Iraq).

Division in the garden

- Mandaeans claim that their religion predates Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and believe that they are the direct descendants of Shem, Noah's son (who went East).
- They also believe that they are related to John the Baptist's original Nasoraean Mandaean disciples (Nazarenes) in Jerusalem.
- So we see that John the Baptist has a heavy Muslim following and Christ does not.

According to the Haran Gawaita, John the Baptist was baptized, initiated, and educated by the patron of the Nasirutha (secret knowledge), Enosh (Anush or Anush-ʼuthra), the hierophant of the sect. (Wikipedia)

Scales out of balance

- The Mandaean Gnostic's were the reason the Christian religious leaders distrusted many gnostic teachings.
- They saw this apostasy going on and reacted by simply rejecting everything gnostic and mystical, because they feared being wrong about it, all the wisdom, they didn't understand it.

Sideways

- But it was even deeper than that because they lost trust in others, not knowing who had the Holy Spirit, due to Simon Magus claiming he had the Holy Spirit, not the Christians.
- The Mandaean claimed they had the Divine One and they went right back to Christ's claim about 'we are the Elohim and the scripture cannot be broken' to emphasize their belief about their own divinity (superior) over everyone else.

Pharisees

- Next came the screams of 'blasphemy' because that is human tendency and ego to assume they are the only ones who can teach the truth, much the same as the Pharisees did.
- The Pharisees, who hated Christ, were spiritual descendants of the Hasideans, were a Jewish movement that emerged as a distinct group after the Maccabean revolt in 165 BC.
- They were a party of laymen as opposed to the Sadducees, a high priesthood that had traditionally provided the sole leadership of the Jewish people.

They pile heavy burdens on people's shoulders and won't lift a finger to help. Everything they do is just to show off in front of others. They even make a big show of wearing Scripture verses on their foreheads and arms, and they wear big tassels for everyone to see. They love the best seats at banquets and the front seats in the synagogues. And when they are in the market, they like to have people greet them as their teachers. (Matthew 23:4-7)

Pharisee tassels

- The revolt of the Pharisees concerned the first five books of the Jewish Torah and the Pharisees belief that religious doctrine was based on both oral and written works, as opposed to the Sadducees who followed strictly what was recorded in the Torah.
- Both sides concerned with Mose's law.
- They held seats in the Jewish ruling council called the Sanhedrin and were religious leaders and also involved themselves in national politics.
- The Pharisees were also teachers and pastors, what Jewish people today refer to as Rabbis.

But none of you should be called a teacher. You have only one teacher, and all of you are like brothers and sisters. Don't call anyone on earth your father. All of you have the same Father in heaven. None of you should be called the leader. The Messiah is your only leader. Whoever is the greatest should be the servant of the others. If you put yourself above others, you will be put down. But if you humble yourself, you will be honored. (Matthew 23:8-12)

Simon Magus cult member

- On the other side, Apostle Peter believed he had the truth, but he was humble, he learned from the Holy Spirit in prayer and meditation.
- Peter was teaching the truth and the congregation tried bowing down to him and he told them not to worship him because he was just a man, the opposite of what Simon Magus and the Pharisees were doing.
- Simon Magus was adament the people should listen to him and that he could prove he was the only one they should listen to because his teacher was John the Baptist and the Simonians believed John was greater than Jesus.

You Pharisees and teachers of the Law of Moses are in for trouble! You're nothing but show-offs. You lock people out of the kingdom of heaven. You won't go in yourselves, and you keep others from going in. You Pharisees and teachers of the Law of Moses are in for trouble! You're nothing but show-offs. You travel over land and sea to win one follower. And when you have done so, you make that person twice as fit for hell as you are. (Matthew 23:13-15)

Oral and written works

- Simon Magus and his cult began some interpolations on the holy scriptures.
- Much the same as is still being done today, a groupie who took Aramaic text, which is actually a translation from Greek text, and is using that and taking certain words, looking them up in Strong's and then adding the meanings he finds to his new translation and amazingly, claims that he found two lines of text that were removed from the Bible.
- That is happening on the world stage today on popular video platforms and books, and many are outright lying, although they might not know it.

Mini Mickey Scribe Tool

- There is nothing that was removed from the text existing in the Bible, there are books that were not incorporated, but the text within is all there.
- And there are undoubtably many errors caused by the Jewish scribes.
- However, the main problem is the interpretation and the syntax inconsistencies between all the translated languages that causes misunderstandings and reinventions.

Run over by Pathfinder

- So what happened to Simon Magus cult well that is what is now known as the Illuminati.
- John the Baptist, or the Baphomet, the cult carried around his head on a platter after he was beheaded.
- But John admitted he was just a lamp and that Jesus was the true light that lighteth every man in the world, so this belief in John as the Baphomet confused the Christians.

Illuminati cult Don

- The Illuminati cult got around this discrepancy by promoting their own version of the scriptures.
- Except they've never shown their version, all they've presented is a third century Gnostic cult who came from this twisted belief that Simon Magus made up.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. (John 8:12)

Tarnished cross

- Meanwhile, we can look at the works of many historians who have uncovered the history of the early Gnostics and they have proven that Simon Magus was just one small group that had divergent ideas.
- There are many true Gnostic scriptures, such as the Nag Hammadi library which are authentic and have true sayings of Jesus Christ, but they don't contradict the Bible, they are the same basic teachings.
- The true Christians were Gnostic, or mystics, they came out of beliefs that were true to Jesus Christ and they had the Mysteries, which Paul taught.
- John the Baptist started the Mystery School of the prophets in Syria and therefore all the other mystery schools came from John (Elihu) and his authority.

For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. (Matthew 3:3)

Bandaid's on the crowledge

- The Bible verses are actually rewritten by this devious group, who intuitively believe there is something more in the verse that's really not there.
- You should interpret scripture instead, by reading it word for word and not taking any other words and adding them.
- Read each word and ask the Holy Spirit in prayer to help you understand because it's all written in symbols, encoded, and there's a hidden esoteric meaning.

Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it. (Deuteronomy 12:32)

Skewed

- What the cult has accomplished through their 'initiations' they learn from other people and develop their own understanding which then becomes skewed.
- We can know the false from the truth because the false are proud and they will always fall, and their vanity will cause them to proclaim to everyone they are true.
- Some of them will go back to the law, denying the work of Christ and some deny that Christ even came to the Earth at all.
- But the biggest thing is this little group of Gnostics that went after only John the Baptist, the Simon Magus cult, is the group that's taken over the Illuminati.

"By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you this authority?" Jesus replied, "I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. (Mark 11:28)

Screwed

- The Simon Magus cult has teachings that are very similar to the true teachings, but they twist the words of Christ.
- There were priests who questioned Christ and asked by whose authority he preached and Christ asked them one question; whether the baptism of John was from Heaven or from men.
- That was an amazing question and got them thinking, because if they said Heaven, then Jesus would ask them why they didn't believe him, especially since John testified of him.
- And if they said they didn't believe that Jesus was of divine authority, then they couldn't go that route because they truly feared the people who believed that John the Baptist really was a prophet.
- So if they accepted John the Baptist as a prophet, that meant they would have to accept Jesus as a prophet.

There is another who bears witness about me, and I know that the testimony that he bears about me is true. (John 5:32)

Rock in a hard place

- So the Illuminati pretenders that were full of pride, have taken what is true and twisted it.
- They don't seem to understand that John testified that Christ was greater than him, and he wasn't fit to tie Christ's shoelaces.
- What has happened is a lie, a ruse; what they are contending is that you can divine the 'real' truth, so therefore what John must have really said was apparently from the 'original' Bible where Jesus said he received his authority from John.

Meatloaf

- From there you can deduce that they are telling us they know better what the scripture says than the scripture itself, and they will add to it and say things like the scriptures we have today aren't correct, and this is what they really mean.
- Plus the fact, they can't produce the 'original' because they don't even know where it is.

Pick and choose

- There are many religions today that do the same thing, such as the Witnesses who tell you they don't agree with the Bible so they took some verses out, and that part about Jesus being god, well they don't believe that, so they took that part out too and added Jehovah's name 7,000 times instead.
- Other groups like the Mormons who replaced the Bible with their own Book of Mormon and place more importance on it than the holy text, plus they made significant changes to the storyline.

Certain religions

- Then there are some groups who don't teach the Bible specifically, like the Catholics, they refer to the fundamental beliefs in the Bible, but they don't show much of it to their congregation.
- And the apostasy of certain religions, some came earlier, some came later, that don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
- But lastly, there are those who believe that you should just ignore the Old Testament because it's pretty nasty and just pay attention to the New Testament; a complete lie since they're both important and integral.

Mark on forehead

- In other words, they're saying that they're the mouthpieces of the Lord, so just ignore everything else and do what they say.
- We're the man with the writer's ink horn, we're going to start marking people on their forehead, and if you don't comply, then you don't get saved.
- They will claim they are the faithful and wise and discreet servants that Jesus appointed over all his domestics.
- Never mind that the evil servant says 'my master has delayed his coming' and begins to eat and drink with the confirmed drunkards, and goes back to the Old Covenant (law) and beat his fellow servants.

And begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with the drunken. (Matthew 24:49)

Weeping and gnashing of teeth

- Then the master will come in the hour in which he knows not and assign his portion with the hypocrites.
- Baphomet himself is neutral, as above so below, he will warn you of impending danger and trouble.

Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. "I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 8:10-12)

Furnace of fire raising consciousness

- Oh woe unto you Witnesses and foreigners, you pretenders, judaizers. listen carefully and not be so puffed up in your own hearts that you can't even open your eyes to see the truth.
- Judaizers were a group of Jewish Christians who insisted that their congregation follow the Mosaic Law and that Gentile converts to Christianity must first be circumcised.

Mosaic Law

- Mosaic Law is the Law of Moses and refers to the Torah or the first five books of the Hebrew Bible.
- Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Galatians showed that, initially, a large number of the Galatian Gentile converts adopted these restrictions; meanwhile, Paul strenuously wrote letters to the churches to dissuade them from doing so.

So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. "The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:40-42)

Eyes to see

- Do you have eyes that can see and ears that can hear?
- No one can describe what the truth is to you without you realizing it first.
- You're going to have to grasp it using your spiritual intuition, your own spiritual eye.
- Everyone will believe what they want, but you must honor the Lord Jesus Christ and anyone who does not believe that, you should not follow.

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, who have eyes to see, but see not, who have ears to hear, but hear not, for they are a rebellious house. (Ezekiel 12:2)

Pseudo-gospels

- Why would you not want to believe in Jesus, well that is just your pride kicking in.
- So these individuals are going to write some pseudo-gospels with the intent of changing the theme, and they will switch it from Jesus to John.

Jesus age 12

- They say that Jesus started as John's disciple, but that's not really true only in the sense that John was born six months before Jesus, however, with such an age difference, it's doubtful that John led Jesus in anything.
- And that is easy to see because when Jesus was 12 his teachers said he already knew everything, and the same was not true with John at age 12.

Baptism with water

- Then they'll say that John baptized Jesus, so of course, that shows that Jesus was John's disciple.
- Because Paul wrote so many epistles after Jesus death, they will say that Paul was a bad guy and was trying to rewrite the Bible.
- So many dislike Paul because he didn't believe in the law, they want to go back to the law, or insert some other guy who thinks he's greater than Jesus.

Mystery Schools

- When Jesus was baptized by John, he recognized the authority of John and it was needed this time to fulfill all righteousness because John had authority that all the Mystery Schools in the world recognized.

I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11)

Cup of fire

- John was humble and said he was doing this because he needed to be baptized by Jesus because it was a baptism of fire, and Jesus had a cup he was going to drink that only a few were able to drink.
- When Paul talks in Corinthians about those who are drinking damnation to themselves, because they do not discern the body, he is talking about the majority of Christians who don't discern, they receive communion and drink the body and blood of Christ but they are drinking damnation.
- Jesus said to partake of a cup, to be baptized with this baptism, a fire, we're going to suffer so we can learn obedience by the things we suffer, we've got to go through this trial and overcome the world.

For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. (1 Corinthians 11:29)

Crow in crossbow

- But so many don't learn and they're drinking damnation because they're not learning, they're just drinking all this suffering upon themselves but they're not listening and learning.
- This is because their heart isn't in the right place when they're asking for guidance and direction.
- Instead, they drink the cup of death, we've got to go through this death and come out unscathed with true belief in what we're asking.

Truths

- If you don't understand the truths, starting with we must overcome the world and willingly discipline ourselves, and have self-control, that will be the damnation.
- However, the Simon Magus crowd will continue to disregard and they will find other verses in the Bible to reinterpret and skew.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as fire. (1 Corinthians 3:15)

Holy Spirit the Divine Mother Isis

- The Simon cult will pull a story from the Book of Luke that tells how John received the Holy Spirit at birth, but Jesus didn't receive the Holy Spirit until he was baptized by John.
- But they will neglect to mention that many people have the Holy Spirit from birth, like Samson, and others that followed in this tradition, they were Nazarenes.

Peanut baptism

- BTW, having the Holy Spirit simply means someone went through a baptism rite, and many religions do that at birth, others allow their members to choose when they are mature enough to make the decision themselves (such as the Anabaptist).
- Plus, the Bible never said that Jesus didn't have the Holy Spirit from birth, what it said is Jesus was age 30 when he received word from the Heavenly Father that he was mature enough.

As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. (Matthew 3:13-17)

Wet birdie

- So you can easily see how easy it is to be deceived by twisted words if you don't take the time to learn the truth first.
- And they can make all their lies seem so sound and rational and reasonable and print all kinds of fancy literature and give speeches with pretty words.
- By referring to John as more powerful than Jesus (because he had the Holy Spirit since he was born), is an extremely weak argument if you know the true story, in fact, it has zero relevance.
- Especially since an infant who is baptized by his parents, is not exercising any kind of spiritual knowledge, his parent may be, but he certainly is not.

Divine Mother hovering over the waters

- And the Dove that came down to Jesus' baptism the Simon Magus crowd just want to ignore because that didn't happen when John was baptized at birth.
- The Dove represents the Divine Mother of Isis, who's depicted with great plumage and wings, that's the Divine Mother that Jesus received.
- But meanwhile, it's easy for the cult to keep pushing John's baptism at birth, because there was an annunciation of angels that came and announced his conception to his parents Zechariah and Elizabeth.

Winged angel

- Why would angels have to come and announce the birth of the winged Mother hovering over the waters in creation, the Divine Holy Spirit, Sophia.
- That was quite an introduction that John received, but not as great as the introduction Jesus received.

But the angel said to him: “Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. (Luke 1:5-25)

Only a lamp, decreasing and increasing

- Why would angels come to announce the birth of a man such as John?
- Jesus said that John was the greatest man ever born from a woman's womb.
- The greatest thing about John was that he was humble, and he willingly accepted the grace of the Holy Spirit and he understood that his job was to testify of Jesus.
- This is about procreation and how the Most High always has a succession plan, just like Elijah and Elisha.

Disciples

- And he said he was only a lamp and he would decrease, and Jesus would increase, they were in this together.
- All the disciples of John followed Jesus before Jesus arrived and was annointed as the Christ, before he established his ministry and chose his disciples, and he chose the disciples who had all the Mysteries from the Mystery Schools.

Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. (Matthew 11:11)

White vestments of the Magi

- All the Mystery Schools knew that John the Baptist was the founder and leader of the schools.
- It didn't matter where there were, Syria, or Coptic schools in Africa, China, India, because Jesus went to all of them and instructed them.

Magi wise men

- As we're told in scripture about the three wise men (astrologers), the head of the school of Zoroaster, the Magi, and they recognized the birth of Jesus, but they didn't recognize the birth of John.
- This annunciation, where an angel comes and announces a birth, isn't something that humans cannot have, certainly angels came to announce Jesus' birth.
- The angels said that Jesus was from the Most High, and he was sent to warn the people and save them from their sins, that is not something that the Most High did for John.

And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)

History book

- There were oral traditions, but Apostle Luke was the first to write things down and he explained that he did it very carefully by referring back to the eyewitnesses before composing the account.
- This is why in the Nag Hammadi library we have the sayings of Jesus without any fluff, just his words.
- So individuals like Luke, wrote down Jesus' words before they composed the narrative; and he shows us how he was writing a history book called the New Testament.

Fossils

- From there, we can determine that people like Matthew and Mark were like Luke, writing down history with a conscious effort to be as accurate as possible.
- And what they were writing about, were the teachings that had already been orally transmitted and Jesus sayings were his true words.

Elijah comes into the world

- Luke went into the entire navity story of Jesus birth quite in depth and it appears it's because we have to have Elijah come into the world before the kingdom.
- The Old Testament had several individuals who had annunciations by angels at their birth, such as Isaac, Samson and Samuel.
- When Luke wrote about this, he didn't say that the angel came to Elizabeth to tell her that John was filled with the Holy Spirit and would save the world from sin, but instead, he said that the power of Elijah would be upon John.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things." (Matthew 17:11)

Firey chariot

- Luke describes how John was dressed in a garment of camel's hair and he had a leather girdle around his waist; that was the official mantle of Elijah (Elihu) that fell on Elisha (meaning Jesus is my El), and remember, Elisha saw Elijah go up in a firey chariot.
- Elijah's mantle, which he covers his face with in the cave, is the symbol of prophetic authority that the older man passed on to his successor.
- The group that followed Simon Magus knew of this esoteric wisdom and they pointed out that Elijah represented the Son in his firey chariot that went up into the sky, so therefore, Elijah was the Sun, and who could be greater than the Sun.

Elisha then picked up Elijah’s cloak that had fallen from him and went back and stood on the bank of the Jordan. (2 Kings 2:13)

Elijah’s cloak

- What they don't realize is that Elisha saw this happen and he received a double portion, Jesus is the Lord, Elisha had two times the power of Elijah (Elihu).
- Elisha asked for twice the annointing of Elijah before Elijah died, because Elisha wanted to do more than Elijah, he wanted to accomplish even more, the student wanted to be greater than the teacher, but not out of a sense of competition, but of upward and continued success.
- Not only creation, but evolution.

It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous [which is to seek and submit to the will of God]—in order to make ready a people [perfectly] prepared [spiritually and morally] for the Lord. (Luke 1:17)

Elijah represents Jehovah (John)

- Elijah, whose name means Jehovah is my God, was a Tishbite, from the land of Gilead.
- He is first introduced in the Bible in Kings when Ahab becomes king and he did evil in the eyes of the Lord.
- The first thing Elijah did to Ahab was pronounce judgment on him and the nation of Israel.
- The heavens were shut for three years and no rain fell on Earth.
- Elijah, in the lower ego, was all about proclaiming that Jehovah was his God and that Jehovah (YHWH) was the only God.
- Elijah represented the Old Covenant, Moses Law.

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, 'As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.' (1 Kings 17:1)

Elisha represents Jesus

- Elisha, whose name means God is salvation, was the son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah, which was a city in ancient Palestine.
- God instructs Elijah to anoint Elisha as his successor.
- When Elijah anointed Elisha, he decided at that point to leave his parents’ home and follow Elijah.
- The Bible says he became his servant, so essentially, he was an apprentice and would assume the mantle that Elijah left.
- Elisha kissed his mother and father goodbye so he could become a servant.
- Elisha represented the New Covenant, love.

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him. Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. (1 Kings 19:19-20)

Elisha’s cloak

- But even in the type, or the shadow of esoteric language, it tells us there would be one who would come after Elijah, besides, Elisha was a student of Elijah so he did come after.
- Just as Jesus was an Essene, and student of John and all his disciples were trained by John and followed him.
- So Jesus came six months later, but when he saw Elijah and he passed away, he gained two-fold his power and was the one who would raise that child, or priesthood and revive the ancient wisdom.

You have asked a difficult thing,” Elijah said, “yet if you see me when I am taken from you, it will be yours—otherwise, it will not. (2 Kings 9:10)

Eastern side is the spiritual side

- So there were comparisons made that Elijah was John, the son, and what greater person could there be.
- Both Elijah and John were concerned with water because John lived on the Eastern side of the Jordan river, whereas, most of the stories in the Bible are about what's on the Western side.
- That's because the Western side is the left side of the brain, which is the carnal, lower ego, conscious living, masculine.
- The Eastern side faces toward the Sun and is the powerful, spiritual side, feminine, the thought processes and the river of life coming down from Labin's house.

Jacob continued on his way and went toward the land of the East. Suddenly he came upon a well out in the fields with three flocks of sheep lying around it. The flocks were watered from this well, which had a large stone over the opening. Whenever all the flocks came together there, the shepherds would roll the stone back and water them. Then they would put the stone back in place. (Genesis 29:2-3)

Western side is the carnal side

- The majority of stories in the Bible take place in the Promised Land, the Western side, lower ego.
- Moses came from the Eastern side and he never crossed into the Promised Land, he stayed over on the Eastern side.
- Does it make sense now, Moses didn't go into the lower ego and get caught up in the grizzly fight, the struggles of life in this physical, carnal world to conquer it and make it paradise or to redeem it.
- So then you have to wonder why the Jews made the story out like he was somehow missing something (strife).

Baptism on the East side of the Jordan

- And Elijah also lived on the Eastern side, and we know this because the Bible tells us that John and Jesus were baptizing on the other side of the Jordan, the East side.
- The woman Jesus met was from Bethany, on the East side of the Jordan, as was Lazarus.
- So were the sisters, Martha and Mary, and Mary was Magdalene so the woman from Bethany was Mary Magdalene.
- And Bethany was where Jesus went to be baptized because it was the Essenes who were on the East side of the river.

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean. (2 Kings 5:10)

Heavenly fire

- This also points out that Lazarus was indeed John the Baptist and Jesus raised him from the dead.
- Elijah lived by the river, and he prayed for rain, and he also parted the river in order to cross over to dry land, just like Moses did.

Baptism in water and fire

- Elijah prevailed over the water in many ways, and therefore is a fitting representation of John the Baptist, who baptized in water, unlike Jesus, who baptized in fire.
- And water is of course, at the bottom of the wheel in astrology, the lower ego.
- Although, Elijah also did have something to do with the Heavenly fire, he brought the fire down out of the sky.

Elijah answered the captain, “If I am a man of God, may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then fire fell from heaven and consumed the captain and his men. (2 Kings 1:10)

Elijah watches Elisha ascend

- The fire that Elijah brought down destroyed his enemies.
- When the Bible talks about Elijah ascended to Heaven in a firey chariot, it doesn't actually say he was on the chariot.
- Rather, it says both the chariot and horses, made of fire, appeared in the sky and separated Elijah from Elisha.
- Elisha was on one side of the chariot, the Four Horsemen of the astrology, and Elijah was on the other side.
- And Elijah saw Elisha ascend himself into the chariot.

As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. (2 Kings 2:11-12)

Elijah the Sun

- So of course, many people believed that Elijah symbolized the Sun.
- How is it that John the Baptist, the reincarnation of Elijah (Elihu) who has to do with all these particulars, not represent the Sun.
- According to the Gnostic Mandaean scriptures, Elijah was going to come on this firey chariot that was like a world conflagration of fire, a great destruction.
- What is interesting and contradictory, is that the Bible says that Elijah will come before the great fear inspiring day of the Lord and nothing will be destroyed, so what can all of this mean?

Bonfire good fire

- The Feast of John the Baptist is the Summer Solstice, and in France it is typically celebrated with bonfires.
- Reminiscent of the Mid-Summer pagan (nations) rituals which is a Catholic festival in celebration and honor of John the Baptist.
- Summer Solstice takes place on June 24, which is Mid-Summer Day.

Astrology wheel

- John the Baptist was the son, not a devil, not the rising sun, nor the setting sun, but sun that's high in the sky and burns like a torch and defeats his enemies.
- It goes across the sky, then downward, and when he gets out of sight, this is when Elisha saw Elijah going and he received a double portion, this is astrology.

Flesh on vine

- One of the things the Book of Revelations talks about that will happen during the Tribulation is that the Beast will hate the Harlot and eat up her flesh and burn her with fire.
- It was Elijah (Elihu) who defeated Jezebel and threw her out the window and the dogs ate her flesh.
- So there are a lot of parallels here, and John the Baptist was certainly the greatest man ever born of a woman, but who was he really, and why does he represent the Sun and his power.

Astrological Helios

- Now in the days of the early disciples in the first century, everyone knew what it meant, they saw it on the walls of the Greek temples as Helios, who was also portrayed on a firey chariot drawn by a team of steeds.
- And Helios would traverse the sky from East to West, so the ancients understood that he was Elijah (Elihu).
- But why one is the rising sun, and the other a setting sun, one the sun high in the sky, there's a nuance to all of this because Helios had four horses pulling his chariot.

Astrological sign

- And that's the Chariot of Fire in the Bible that Elijah was riding, and so the Four Horseman are also mentioned in Revelations and it's not a good thing, death and war and famine.
- Well, those Four Horsemen are the four fixed signs of the astrological wheel.

Astrological wheel

- So this is astrology, but it represents the whole cosmological wheel, the astrological sign.
- But of course, that's not the highest Divine Being, the firey steeds brings in the day of suffering, or trouble, the wheel of rebirth.
- Jesus was far above the wheel of rebirth, but he entered into it to conquer the world as all of us must ride these horses, and all of us are also Elijah and we must suffer through these same experiences, or initiations.

 Son of man

- Elisha was not represented that way, but when he saw Elijah the sun, going down over the horizon in glory, he received his mantle and got a double portion.
- This is El, Elisha, Jesus is my savior, El is Jesus.
- So the symbolism is certainly there and even though Elisha was a student of Elijah, and Jesus was fulfilling this role, but not because he was inferior in any way to John.
- How is then that John is the Sun, since Jesus is Horus who rises on the horizon, the coming of the son of man.

Sun deities

- Well there were other deities that represented the Sun that were not Jesus, in fact, one of them was the devil himself, Apollo (Apollon) and the Bible tells us he is the anti-Christ.
- The Book of Revelations says that Apollo is Abidon or Father Adonai and in Greek he is Apollyon.
- That was not any Sun, that was Apollo, the setting sun, so in Egyptian they called him Set, and in Greek they named him Saturn so today we get the word Satan.
- So Satan is actually the sun, but the setting sun, the dark, and it brings winter and death.

Morning star

- Christ is the rising sun, the dawn, the light, the bright morning star, he's only the morning light, which brings gladness in Spring and it brings rebirth.
- This is why Elijah had to come first, before the great fear inspiring Day of the Lord, because when Jesus comes, with healing on his wings, this is something that happens at the end because there is an evening and a morning each day, and the evening always proceeds the morning.
- And the evening is the time of ignorance, fearful and firey and it purges us of our sins, and baptizes all of us in the river at the bottom of the wheel.

 Belly of the whale

- We go through the belly of the whale like Jonah for 3 days and 3 nights until Spring arrives on the Spring Equinox.
- This shows us how important it is to stay grounded in our faith in Christ, and always remember to be simple and humble and come to the Lord like a child, and pray to him and know that he is your Heavenly Father and that he loves you.

Pit entrance

- Don't become too high minded, all this earthly wisdom can still lead you right into the pit.
- There are some individuals who don't seek the Holy Spirit, love, graditude, kindness and grace, self-control, they get involved in do what though wilt, they're not seeking the Lord.
- They might keep all the laws, or at least they think they do, they're hypocrites.

 Belly of the pit

- They get into all the esoteric knowledge, but they don't even know who Christ is.
- They're not really seeking the Lord, fasting and praying, down on their knees with humility, asking for forgiveness, getting out the demons, so they think they will just purchase the knowledge.

 Nightmare

- Because we're all under grace some think they can just do what they want to do, because it doesn't matter, and they get to reading the information and soon everyone is the Sun and it goes up in the sky and down and then they think they need to do both, play both sides.
- Like thinking they must be evil sometimes, and play both roles, dress up like a Goth or zombie, whatever, the idea that you don't have to be good to balance out the dark and light.

 Belly of the Beast

- They study the information and they think they understand it, but they're deceiving themselves.
- In their arrogance, without graditude or love in their heart, and without the Holy Spirit.
- That is what Aleister Crowley was all about, he wanted to be the Beast, now why would anyone want that, perhaps because of his understanding of the scriptures, which he probably rejected.
- And he decided to go for another alternate tradition, and say well we know better, these darn scriptures, they're all wrong and we must rewrite them and twist them around.

Rose blooming

- This is something we have to understand, and realize in humility that we don't know everything, and all we're doing is Bible study and studying the scriptures the best we can.
- The world is under great deception and time is running short, we need to seek the Lord, get on your knees, not because he's a harsh master and demands that you be sorrowful and persecute yourself, just humbly ask the Lord to show you, and we don't let the left hand know what the right hand is doing (mind over matter, conscious world).

New day

- Cry out to the Lord, Abba, and his spirit bears witness that you are his child, and if your heart is right, he will guide you and if you're listening he will answer you.
- What is supposed to be in the heart is goodness, love and sincerity.
- But be careful that you do not listen to the devil, and be like the Lord who gave us example, and tell the devil, 'get thee behind me Satan.'

Simon in his chariot

- Simon Magus had a strange death and there are several versions.
- Cyril of Jerusalem (346 AD) wrote that Simon Magus raced through the air in a chariot drawn by demons when Peter and Paul knelt down and prayed, and their prayers brought him to earth a mangled corpse.
- In the Acts of Peter there was a different story about how Simon levitated in order to prove himself to be god, and apostle Peter prayed to God to stop his flying and Simon fell and broke his legs into three pieces; the crowd stoned him and then the physicians cut him and he died.

In the New Testament, Simon’s story ends here. But in the Christian apocrypha, Simon’s story is greatly expanded to include a dramatic contest between Simon and Peter that involves a talking dog and a resurrected fish, among other wonders.

In the writings of the church fathers, Simon became a convenient scapegoat—a symbol of everything a Christian should not be. (biblicalarchaeology.org2)

Patron saint

- In England and Ireland, Simon Magus was connected to a malevolent Druid priest named Mog Ruith.
- The two of them conspired to behead John the Baptist.
- In another legend, Simon Magus is involved in a quarrel over tonsure ritual style (shaving of the head) between the Celtic-Irish monks and the Benedictine monks on the continent.

In the Islamic period, too, Simon Magus provided a convenient scapegoat. As the growth of Islam began to threaten the medieval church’s holdings in the rn Mediterranean area, there grew up in the church a number of anti-Muslim tractates. Books such as a very popular Vita Mahumeti connected the Prophet with Simon Magus. (biblicalarchaeology.org)

Magic

- Simon Magus was certainly a prophet and magician and spoke the word of God, but he was not Jesus Christ.
- Jesus Christ came to Earth to get rid of the law (Ten Commandments), not to make the world into a lawless state, but to encourage all to love one another and return society to another Golden Age when everyone knew how to be loving and moral and law wasn't required.
- Especially not the kind of law we have running the world today where so many 'laws' are manmade (not natural law) and devised as a cash cow to any govenment or a measure of unlawful control.
- Be wary of anyone who talks to you about 'more' law, because it should be used to help us and assist us, not hurt us.
- Jesus Christ came to Earth to get rid of the law.
- As above, so below.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)
