- Andrea del Verrocchio (1435 –
7 October 1488) was an Italian sculptor, painter and goldsmith who was a master of an important workshop in Florence.
- He was considered the greatest bronzemaster of his time.
- He worked alongside Sandro Botticello and Filippo Lippi in the latter part of the 15th century
and was under the patronage of the famous Medici family. -

- Leonardo DaVinci was one of his students and they worked on
several paintings together including Baptism of Christ
and Tobias and the Angel.
